Peter Chan 
(曾彼得)

Peter set up Baring Communications Equity Asia ("BCEA") for the ING Group in 1996 as the first specialized regional media and communication fund under the combined sponsorship of the ING Group and the EDB. He was responsible for the general management and investment/divestment strategy of the fund as well as investor relations. Peter led the spin out of the BCEA team into Crest Capital as an independent regional private equity practice. Since then, he has initiated a number of funds which Crest Capital currently manages across the region. He had conceptualized The Enterprise Fund's unique financing model in 2005 and led its launch with IE Singapore's sponsorship in 2006.

In 1987, he joined one of the earliest US-sponsored venture capital funds in Asia where he led and participated in many regional IPO and M&A exits for portfolio companies. Prior to joining the industry, Peter was with accounting firm Arthur Andersen & Co, Singapore.

Peter holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) Degree from the National University of Singapore, is an Overseas Union Bank Scholar and a Fellow of both Institute of Certified Public Accountant in Singapore and CPA Australia. He is a Member of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry's ("SCCCI") Business China and Future China Committees . The SCCCI is a major business association and platform focusing on overseas Chinese and China entrepreneurs. Peter is Singaporean and is fluent in English, Mandarin and other major Chinese dialects.

Glendon Tan
(陈衍辉)

Investment Director. Glendon has over 26 years of experience in banking and finance and 6 years of private equity experience. He was with a number of major local and international banks managing the SME and Corporate Banking business. He has wide regional experience with major corporations and financial institutions. He also has business operating experience from his appointment as Assistant Managing Director in a successful fishery business in Singapore.

Glendon is responsible for investment origination and managing day-to-day functions of the fund. With his extensive experience, Glendon supports by adding value to investees, implementing and improving business processes, and assists SMEs in their financial and management control. Prior to joining the Fund, he was a Senior Manager in a European Bank handling its Local SMEs acquisitions program and managing its Russian exposure. Glendon graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Economics and Chemistry) from the National University of Singapore. He also holds a Diploma in Investment Analysis from Singapore Exchange. He is fluent in English, Mandarin and Chinese dialects.

Matthew Goh

Investment Director. Matthew has over 27 years of experience of investment banking and private equity. He was the founder and Managing Director of PT Makinta Securities in Indonesia where he managed and led capital market exercises such as IPOs, M&As for Indonesian corporations over the last 20 years before he divested the company. Prior to setting up PT Makinta Securities, Matthew also worked in various organizations including both in the Dharmala Group and Nomura Securities in Indonesia where he developed the capital market business and managed/advised clients in global capital markets.

Katherine Ang
(洪銝䔖)

Investment Manager. Katherine is responsible for detailed investment analysis, conducting due diligence, legal documentation and post-investment monitoring. Prior to that, she was a senior accountant in a local listed company where she was responsible for the preparation and reviewing of consolidation results for the operations in the United Kingdom for the past 3 years. She started her career with one of the big four audit firms where she had 2 years of experience in the external audits of multinationals and Singapore listed companies. Katherine graduated with a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) from Nanyang Technological University. She is fluent in English and Mandarin.

Anne Wong
(王紫珊)

Finance & Compliance Manager. Anne is responsible for reporting and management of the Fund’s financial affairs, statutory compliance and administrative duties. She oversees the Fund’s investment portfolio for compliance and internal control, investor and statutory reporting as well as liaising with internal and statutory auditors. She has 7 years of related working experience, specializing in management and financial accounting/audit for companies in various industries such as financial, manufacturing and retail. She graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) from Curtin University, Singapore Campus. She is also a professional member of CPA Australia. Anne is fluent in English, Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu and other major Chinese dialects.

Lea Tan
(陈茹君)

Compliance Supervisor. Being independent of executive investment operations, Lea is responsible for compliance and portfolio administration to ensure the firm's regulatory processes and standard operating procedures are adhered to. This involves working closely with the firm’s independent director, various fund sponsors as well as liaising with regulatory agencies, internal and statutory auditors of the firm. In participating in review and decision making functions, Lea’s function is to provide a third-party compliance-focussed perspective.

Previously working in a financial advisory firm, she has over 5 years of experience in outsourced accounting and reporting functions whilst managing a team of associates and senior associates. Lea holds a Degree in Accounting and Finance. She is an ISCA Associate and currently pursuing the Chartered Accountant qualification.

Lim Chu Pei
(林楚培)

Investment Analyst. Chu Pei is responsible for carrying out duties relating to investment analysis, project research and feasibility studies, transaction legal documentation, investee monitoring, portfolio management and divestment functions. Previously he was working in a public accounting firm where he has audited multinational and local listed companies. He graduated with a Bachelor of Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University and is fluent in English and Mandarin.

Jake Kim
(金政辉)

Investment Analyst. Jake carries out investment analysis, financial modeling, project research and feasibility studies, legal documentation, investee and portfolio performance monitoring. Prior to that, he was a senior associate in KPMG Singapore where he had more than 3 years of experience auditing government agencies, multinationals and Singapore listed companies. Jake graduated with a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) from Nanyang Technological University.

Evelyn Ordinario

Internal Control Officer. Evelyn supports the internal control functions in investee monitoring through tracking key performance indicators, investee cash control and special assignments to the accounting departments of portfolio companies. She has 15 years of regional accounting, finance and administrative experience. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science and Business Administration (major in accounting) from the Philippines School of Business Administration, Philippines. Evelyn is a Filipino and a Singapore Permanent Resident. She is fluent in English and Tagalog.

Soon Chin Yang
(孙敬阳)

Head GIP Documentation. Chin Yang is responsible for marketing the Fund, conducting detailed presentations to prospective investors, managing documentation issues and the GIP application process with the EDB. Before joining Crest Capital, Chin Yang was previously the Regional Director, Singapore Economic Development Board (East China) and was based in Shanghai from September 2002 to September 2007. He was responsible for setting up EDB's office in Shanghai. By leveraging on Singapore's platform, he assisted Chinese enterprises in "Going Out" and connected them to international markets, financing, partnerships, business development, etc.

Chin Yang was with EDB for more than 13 years, and has experience with Suzhou Industrial Park, Singapore's electronics cluster and EDB San Francisco office. He graduated from Imperial College (Master in Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering).

Soh Poh Cheng
(苏宝贞)

Documentation Officer. The Documentation Officers are staff dedicated to assisting investors who are applying for permanent residence under the Singapore GIP. They are responsible for managing the flow of Singapore permanent residence application process starting from online submission, and continuing with documentation up to completion with immigration processes.

Crest INDONESIA 

Indra Widjaja
(黄鹏年)

Investment Committee Chairman, based in Indonesia, Pak Indra is a veteran business entrepreneur and besides being a key member of the Sinarmas Group of companies, he is also the founder and Commissioner of PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk, the holding company of all the Group's financial institutions and is the head of its Financial Division's investment committee. The financial institutions here include Sinarmas Bank, Sinarmas Sekuritas, insurance companies, investment funds, etc. He oversees the strategic management of all these businesses. Pak Indra He graduated in Business Administration from the then NanYang University of Singapore and is fluent in English, Bahasa Indonesia and Mandarin.

Fuganto Widjaja
(黄挺冠)

Investment Committee Representative. Based in Jakarta – Indonesia, Fuganto's responsibilities include originating investment projects particularly in resource-based, distressed assets and turnaround deals, planning and conducting due diligence exercises, as well as monitoring investee performance post-investment. Fuganto started his career as Research Analyst with UBS Investment Bank in Singapore in 2003 focusing on High Yield/Distressed Debts. He then moved to PT Super Wahana Techno in Indonesia in 2005 as its President Director where he was responsible for creating and managing a biotech company, specializing in the manufacture and distribution of high-tech water-based products. He is, at present, the Deputy CEO of Sinarmas Energy and Mining in Indonesia. This group is one of the world-largest natural resources based company with operation across the Indonesian archipelagos.

Fuganto graduated with a BA in Computer Science & Economics (Full Distinction) from Cornell University USA. He also obtained an MPhil in Finance from Cambridge University (UK). He is proficient in English, Indonesian and fluent in Mandarin and Malay language.
